Video of the Day: Bright meteor lights up night sky

Cameras captured a large meteor rocketing across the night sky over the Western U.S. on Sunday, Aug. 27.

The NASA Meteor Watch estimated the meteor was traveling roughly 41,000 mph. Residents reported loud booms and shaking in the area.
