[Softball] Park Stays Atop the Cal Pac Standings

After splitting Friday's doubleheader with Antelope Valley, Park-Gilbert swept the final two games of the series Saturday to maintain its hold on the top of the California Pacific Conference standings.  The Buccaneers, now 13-2 in conference and 23-7 overall, hold a game and a half lead over Embry-Riddle.  Because Park has played seven more league contests to date, it has a slim advantage over the Eagles, who are 8-0 in Cal Pac play and 16-9 overall—another example of how the many postponements due to repeated storm systems has affected the standings.
