The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said several eruptions from the sun are headed in the direction of earth this coming Sunday, Aug. 21.

The eruptions could cause geomagnetic storms that will possibly shift the Aurora Borealis further south. If weather permits, they may be seen as far south as Pennsylvania, Iowa and Oregon.
