[Volleyball] Madonna Hires Barbe as Women's Volleyball Coach

LIVONIA, Mich. - (MU Release) - Madonna announced Soctt Barbe as the school's new women's volleyball coach. Barbe spent the last five seasons as head coach at Cumberland University (Tenn.). Prior to CU, he was the head coach at Ave Maria (Fla.).

Barbe grew up in Michigan and received a BA in marketing and a Master's of Science in management from Walsh College (Mich.). He inherits a team that went 29-6 last season and claimed both the WHAC regular-season championship and the tournament title.
