[Softball] Softball Playoffs Open Wednesday at LSU

The 2022 California Pacific Conference Softball Championship starts tomorrow, May 4, at 9:00 am at La Sierra in Riverside, Calif., and the opening round matchups could not be harder to call.   Simpson, the #4 seed in the tournament, plays #5 La Sierra in the first game, and the Red Hawks and the Golden Eagles split their season series, with all four games played at SU.  The second game pits #2 Marymount California against #3 Westcliff at 11:30. The Mariners and the Warriors also split their four-game set, played a month ago in Compton, Calif.
