[Men's Soccer] UCM Men's Soccer Staff Voted Best in the West Region

The UC Merced men's soccer coaching staff, led by head coach Albert Martins, has been named the West Region Staff of the Year for the NAIA, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches Association.  Martins and assistant coach Sergio Sousa guided the Bobcats through a perfect regular season and the program's first ever California Pacific Conference Tournament Championship.  UCM recorded eight straight shutouts en route to its postseason hardware and became just the nation's fourth team in the last ten years to earn a shutout in every conference game.
