A day without classes Wednesday was worth shouting about for 2,810 mostly school-age patrons at SEFCU Arena. The University at Albany women's basketball team just gave them a little more reason to holler.
In its annual "Commitment To Education" Day, when busloads of kids are dropped off on campus, UAlbany came up with some clutch plays in the final half-minute and held off the University of Maryland-Baltimore County 56-51 in an America East matchup.
