[Women's Soccer] ERAU Comes Up Short on Penalty Kicks

In a postseason classic, Embry-Riddle and Vanguard battled to a 1-1 draw for 110 minutes, leaving it to a shootout to determine which team would advance to the NAIA National Championship finals in Orange Beach, Ala.  The Lions, the host of the Costa Mesa Bracket, won the shootout, 3-1, and brought the Eagles' 2019 campaign to a close.  The Lions were first on the scoreboard with Myranda Baca's score in just the 3rd minute, but Katy Hyde drove home the equalizer in the 59th minute, and from there the defenses took center stage.
