HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The University of Rio Grande managed to hang around for a while against NCAA Division I Marshall University on Saturday afternoon, but once the Thundering Herd got things in order, the RedStorm found themselves buffaloed.
An 18-3 run over the final six minutes of the opening half blew open a tight game and allowed Marshall to pull away for what finished as an easy 92-59 victory in front of 5,642 fans at the Cam Henderson Center.
The game was an exhibition contest for both teams.
