[Cal Pac] Soka's Almeida Receives Coveted Fulbright Scholarship

Soka's cross country and track & field standout Miranda Almeida received the coveted Fulbright Program Grant and was also the recipient of the California Pacific Conference Dr. Jim Davies Award for the 2018-2019 academic year.  The J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board notified Almeida of her selection for a Fulbright award to Spain in late March, informing her that her grant will allow her to travel to Spain to serve as an English teacher in a classroom setting, while also getting to engage in the community through extra-curricular activities.
