[Men's Basketball] No. 3 Tigers MSC Champions in 104-75 win
They were lucky anything was left of the first net cut down Monday after Georgetown College men's basketball team burned it up in the first half of the Mid-South Conference Championship game.
The No. 3 Tigers (28-4) hit 67 percent in the first 20 minutes, including 12 three-pointers. They finished with 18 threes, new season high, and rolled from the opening tip for a 104-75 win, new MSC record for most points in a championship game.
Troy Steward had eight threes, seven in the first half, and in the first three minutes he was 4-of-4 from deep.
"It was a great start," the senior said.
