[Women's Basketball] Abby Schmidt picks up KCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors

WICHITA, Kan. - Taylor Deniston of (16) Tabor College and Abby Schmidt of Bethel College have earned the KCAC Women's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Dec. 3-9 by a vote of conference sports information directors. This is the third time Schmidt has picked up the weekly honors in the 2018-19 season, as she swept offensive and defensive in the opening week.
