[Women's Basketball] Brown & Schmidt Sweep KCAC Weekly Awards for Second Time this Season

WICHITA, Kan. - Jade Brown (JR/Sanford, Fla.) and Abby Schmidt (FR/Newton, Kan.) of Bethel College have earned the KCAC Women's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 5-11 by a vote of conference sports information directors. This is Brown's second time winning a Player of the Week award this season, while Schmidt has earned the honors a program-record seven times.
