The Cleveland Cavaliers have parted ways with general manager David Griffin, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. Griffin held the position since 2010 and his contract expired at the end of the 2016-17 season.
Griffin and Cavs management couldn’t come to an agreement regarding the franchise’s future, according to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, and former Pistons guard Chauncey Billups has emerged as a candidate for Cleveland’s vacancy.
