[Baseball] Bees heading to Oklahoma to face Midland (Neb.) in NAIA Opening Round
2017 NAIA Baseball Championship Opening Round schedule
The Bees' postseason run will continue in Bartlesville, Okla.
St. Ambrose, which enters the tournament on a 14-game winning streak, is the No. 5 seed and will play No. 4 Midland (Neb.) Monday at 11 a.m. as part of the NAIA Baseball Championship Opening Round.
Top-seed Oklahoma Wesleyan is the Opening Round host. Indiana Tech is the No. 2 seed and Bryan (Tenn.) is the No. 3 seed in the five-team double-elimination bracket.
The winner of the bracket, along with the champion at each of the other eight Opening Round sites, will join Lewis-Clark State College at the 10-team double-elimination AVISTA-NAIA Baseball World Series May 26-June 2 in Lewiston, Idaho.
A first-game win would send the Bees into a 7 p.m. game against Oklahoma Wesleyan Monday. A loss would put SAU in an elimination game Tuesday at 11 a.m.
