Morning Briefing: Mets’ Schedule Moved Around
Good morning, Mets fans!
After a day of snowed-out baseball, the Mets will be back in action late Wednesday night.
Wednesday’s Game 2 against the Rockies was moved from a 3:10 p.m. ET start to 9:20 p.m. ET. Tuesday’s game was moved to Thursday, and will be played at 3:10 p.m. ET.
Anthony DiComo of MLB.com noted that the Mets’ pitchers will simply be pushed back a start. So it’ll be Freddy Peralta (1-3, 3.52 ERA) on Wednesday against Michael Lorenzen (2-3, 6.09 ERA).
The Mets enter Wednesday with the lowest winning percentage in baseball (.371) — but they’ve won two games in a row and could clinch their second consecutive series win with a victory on Wednesday.
