Morning Briefing: Juan Soto Day-to-Day With Calf Strain
Good morning, Mets fans!
Carlos Mendoza (via SNY) announced Saturday that Juan Soto will get an MRI on his calf on Sunday. Soto (via SNY) elaborated saying he is “day-to-day” and will decide if he can play on Sunday before the game.
On Saturday night, the Mets dominated offensively for the second night in a row. They routed the Giants 9-0. Clay Holmes threw seven innings of shutout baseball, giving up just three hits while striking out four.
The Mets and Giants conclude their series on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
