Compass wins USA Finals; joins Jon'sCopyright in WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025 World Finals

The field of eight for the WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025 World Finals Presented by Visit Raleigh is set after an exhilarating finish on Friday.

United States players Compass and Jon’sCopyright claimed the final two berths in the World Finals with standout performances in the WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025 USA Finals Presented by Visit Raleigh.

Competing in his third USA Finals, Compass defeated Jon’sCopyright 3-0 in the championship game, powered by back-to-back home runs from Akira Myojin and Daisuke Deita in the bottom of the first inning. As runner-up, Jon’sCopyright secured the Wild Card slot in the World Finals.

“I felt great about every game, I felt like I proved everything I wanted to prove. I felt like I performed every way I wanted to perform,” Compass said in an interview after the championship game.

Compass finished Group B play in second place with a 1-1 record, defeating KangGang and losing to MCscales. He then went 3-0 in bracket play, defeating drum/yg in the quarterfinals and BigSid in the semifinals before defeating JonsCopyright in the championship.

Jon’sCopyright tied for first place in Group A with a 1-1 record and finished second on a tiebreaker, defeating BigSid and losing to drum/yg. In bracket play, he defeated KangGang and MCscales before losing to Compass in the championship.

BigSid took third place in his first USA Finals appearance, defeating fellow debutant MCscales 1-0 in the third-place game.

With the result, Compass and Jon’sCopyright advance to the World Finals, joining an elite field of competitors in WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS.

As USA champion, Compass will compete in Group A of the World Finals Super Round alongisde Japan champion Tomokun, Mexico champion benzen, and Women’s Qualifier champion Hig Yurune of Japan.

Meanwhile, Jon’sCopyright will feature in Group B with Chinese Taipei champion SHE SHE, Italy champion, Italy champion MSQA, and Global Qualifier champion POME of Japan.

The Super Round takes place Saturday, 8 November at 15:30 local time in Raleigh, North Carolina, at the NC State Gaming and Esports Lab on the campus of North Carolina State University. Players in each group will face one another once to determine seeding for Sunday's Bracket Play phase.

Coverage of the Super Round will be available on the WBSC YouTube channel, the WBSC eSport Twitch channel, the USA Baseball YouTube channel, and ELTA4 for Mandarin-language audiences. Fans may also watch the tournament in person, with seating available in the viewing room of the NC State Gaming and Esports Lab, located inside the James B. Hunt Jr. Library on the NC State campus, and at the Bad Machines Esports Bar at 216 Nottingham Dr. in Cary, North Carolina.
