Triple-A
Syracuse Mets (62-61) 1, Indianapolis Indians (72-50) 16
BOX SCORE
- 2B/CF Jett Williams – 0-for-5, 1 K (.634 OPS)
- RF Luke Ritter – 2-for-4, 1 R, HR (7), 1 RBI (32) (.688 OPS)
- 1B/lF Ryan Clifford – 1-for-2, 1 K (.550 OPS)
Since his hot start with Syracuse, Williams has cooled down significantly. Ritter was the best performer at the plate and on the mound, which would be Ohtani-esque if it weren’t for the fact he doesn’t pitch.
- RHP Dom Hamel (5.83 ERA) 1 IP, 7 H, 7 ER, 1 BB, 1 K, 1 HR allowed (21 of 34 pitches for strikes)
- RHP Jonathan Pintaro (4.88ERA) 2 IP, 2 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 1 K
The first three pitchers allowed 15 of the 16 runs. Ritter pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and lowering his season ERA to 5.40.
