- This former Mariners prospect may find himself in the big leagues pretty soon.
Twins minor leaguer Gabriel Gonzalez, a 21-year-old outfielder, was promoted to Class AAA following all the trade deadline moves. Gonzalez is a leader for the org’s minor league player of the year. He hit .344 with four homers, 19 doubles and 15 RBI in 55 games at AA.
