Season Ticket Sales
Before we could all eat, the Mets announced exciting news. COO Samantha Engelhardt informed the media that the Mets had sold out their traditional season ticket package heading into the 2025 season, and set the franchise record for season ticket sales entering the season.
The news doesn’t come as a major shock, since the Mets signed Juan Soto in the offseason, but is still no feat to scoff at. The ballpark will asuredly be packed next season and ready for an exciting push for the National League pennant.
New Mascots
The Mets, who prided themselves on fan innovation during the What’s New 2025 event, are adding five new mascots for the 2025 season.
Each mascot represents one borough of New York City, and they will race each other at Mets game this season at Citi Field. This fun new add will mirror teams like the Nationals and Brewers, who both have races at their home games. Steve Gelbs might have to break out the running shoes again.

Heineken Diamond Lounge
Move over Mike Piazza, there’s a new club in town.
The Piazza 31 Club has been renamed for the 2025 season, with Heineken replacing the sponsorship and name. The Heineken Diamond Club will still be located on the third level of Citi Field, and feature the same layout as previous seasons.
The lounge has been updated with green lighting and a brand new backdrop. You can check out photos of the lounge on Metsmerized’s X handle.
The Mets also added the Allagash Alley Bar to Citi Field. It’ll be located on the 1B side of section 311.
Food and Promotions
Another big announcement came while the media was going over to the food section. Citi Field announced their food dynasty, as they were v0ted the best ballpark food in America for a third consecutive year.
One of the new adds to the ballpark this year was Naz’s Halal Food, which includes a combo over rice. For all of the new food adds, you can click here.
What’s New 2025 also featured many promotions. New adds will be the Black Legacy Game on April 17, 2025 vs. the Cardinals, a Minecraft Movie Night April 18, and Mets’ Womens’ Night June 23.
Another promotion for 2025 will come as a set of six bobbleheads. The Mets are offering a three-game ticket package, which include games that offer bobblehead giveaways. The dates for those games are listed below:

The Mets also displayed a new partnership with clothing brand New York or Nowhere. They’ll have Mets branded clothing for sale at the ballpark, including a killer jacket that is a must buy.
