[Women's Basketball] LADY WARRIORS RUN AWAY WITH CONFRENCE TITLE

Sterling, Kan.-For the second consecutive season and for the fourteenth time in program history, the Sterling College Lady Warriors are KCAC Conference Champions. In their 20th conference win of the year the Lady Warriors were able to lay claim to the title as they won a passionate battle against a tough Friends team that gave them one of their hardest tests thus far this season. It was a night to remember as the Gleason Goonies were at their best cheering on their team, the entire gym could see how much the Lady Warriors cared and wanted to defend their title, and the team came together to push through adversity. Despite trailing at half, SC battled and came away with the 83-60 victory and another trophy on the shelf.
