Julius Randle to Play Monday

0 3

The New York Knicks have announced Julius Randle will play in Monday’s matchup with the New York Knicks after missing Saturday’s 102-96 win against the Milwaukee Bucks because of a thigh injury.

Randle is the primary playmaker for the Knicks, with a team-leading usage rate of 27.7%, and has averaged 37 minutes, 23 points, 11 rebounds and six assists per game.

Priced at $9,000 on FanDuel, Randle should also benefit from Mitchell Robinson’s absence, who is out of the rotation after undergoing foot surgery. Randle’s usage rate increases to 28%, and he is averaging 1.25 fantasy points per minute in the 930 minutes Robinson is off the court.

He is also the favorite to win the Most Improved Player award, currently -155.

The Knicks are a 3.5-point home underdog against the Miami Heat on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a game with a 205.5 total, the lowest on the slate. Both teams rank as two of the slowest teams in the league, with the Heat averaging 97.2 possessions per game and the Knicks averaging 96.1 possessions per game.
