[Football] SAU Football home opener Saturday

LAURINBURG, NC- This coming Saturday is the first home football game in St Andrews University history as they will host NAIA non-conference foe Cincinnati Christian at 1:30 PM at the brand new Football Field located across the street from the track adjacent to the softball field. The game is free to attend and seating in the brand new bleachers is first come-first serve. The stadium will open at Noon.

The parking lot between the PE building and the track has been set aside for Tailgating. Tailgating can begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning and will conclude at 1:15 PM.

Sixty spots have been reserved for student tailgating. The rest are for parents, community members, faculty, and staff. If you would like to tailgate on Saturday before the game, you can reserve a spot in the Office of Student Affairs starting Tuesday morning and ending Thursday at noon. We will be distributing the sixty spots on a first-come-first-served basis.

To sign up, we will need your name, the make and model of your automobile, the names of the others in your tailgating group, and your ages. We will then provide you with a Tailgating Ticket, to place on your dashboard.

The game will start at 1:30 p.m. NO FOOD OR DRINK WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM AREA.
