[Women's Track & Field] Simpson sets Program Record at Sean Brady Alumni Open

Angola, Ind. – Freshman Madison Simpson (Burbank, Ill./Reavis) had a record-setting day for the Saint Xavier University women's track & field team at the Sean Brady Alumni Open hosted by Trine University (Ind.) Saturday. She broke her own record in the Weight Toss with a throw of 13.01m and had a 7th place finish. Simpson also had a season-long toss in the Shot Put with a throw of 11.25m and placed 3rd. The Cougars finished 10th out of 11 teams with a score of 16 points.
