[Women's Soccer] Running Eagles edge Tigers on Homecoming
Georgetown College women's soccer has struggled to find rhythm at times this season, but showed a new grit and focus Saturday in the rain against Life University. The Tigers (4-9-1, 2-6) struck first, but the Running Eagles (9-6, 6-4) took control for a 3-2 victory.
Libby Miller, set up by Loren Moran and Maddie Sparks, gave GC a lead midway through the first in front of the Homecoming crowd. Not two minutes later, Life tied it and that's how it remained through halftime.
