[Women's Basketball] Week 12: Women's Basketball Player of the Week

OKLAHOMA CITY – Mid-America Christian's Alexis Shannon captured her first weekly honor of the season after leading the Evangels to a split on the weekend and was named the Sooner Athletic Conference women's basketball player of the week, the conference office announced Monday morning (Feb. 10).

Shannon, a senior forward from Noblesville, Ind., contributed an average of 28.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and shot 56 percent from the floor from Feb. 3-9 as MACU split with Oklahoma Panhandle State and No. 5 Wayland Baptist.
