[Wrestling] Wrestling competed at the Patriot Open on Saturday

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson wrestling team opened their 2019-20 season on Saturday at the Patriot Open.

Alex Caldwell would lose his first match of the day at 141-pounds on a 15-8 decision to Maxwell Kaufman. Falling to the consolation bracket he would receive a bye before pinning Mannie Murrer of Thomas More (Ky.) at 4:33. Caldwell's day came to a close when he was pinned against Seth Johnson of Marian (Ind.) in just 56 seconds.
