MINERS BRANDON CUNNIFF HAS CONTRACT PURCHASED
The Southern Illinois Miners have announced they sold the contract of Brandon Cunniff to the Atlanta Braves. Cunniff is the 27th player in the history of the Miners organization to have their contract selected by a major league organization and the second in three days (Tyler Stubblefield). He will be joining the Lynchburg Hillcats, the Braves High-A affiliate.
