[Men's Basketball] Wayland Baptist Holds No. 1 Spot in Preseason SAC Poll
OKLAHOMA CITY – Wayland Baptist has been chosen as the preseason favorite to win the 2019-20 Sooner Athletic Conference men's basketball championship by the league's coaches.
The Pioneers collected 99 points and nine of the possible 11 top votes in the SAC preseason poll. Wayland Baptist took the SAC regular-season championship and the top seed in the SAC Tournament for the first time last season.
