[Football] Rule and Simpson Receive Player of the Week Honors

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Olivet Nazarene University running back LaShaun Rule (JR/South Holland, Ill.) earned NAIA and Mid-States Football Association Midwest League Offensive Player of the Week honors for his record-breaking performance on September 21st. For the game, Rule had 294 yards rushing and five touchdowns.  Both of these marks are new ONU school records.  Adding to the impressiveness of Rule's feat is the fact that he achieved these statistics on only 19 carries, giving him a 15.5 yards-per-carry average.
