Angels select contract of former BayBear Matt Thaiss
The Angels announced Wednesday that they have selected the contract of Matt Thaiss, a former member of the BayBears, from Triple-A Salt Lake. Thaiss is scheduled to bat seventh and play third base in his Major League debut Wednesday night.
