Brittney Matta named new Softball Head Coach.

South Mountain CC announces the hiring of Brittney Matta as the new Head Softball Coach. Athletic Director, Todd Eastin announced the hiring following a thorough national search. Matta played for Coach Clint Myers at Arizona State University, winning a national championship as a player in 2008. She also served as a graduate assistant on the ASU staff in 2011, helping the team win another national championship. Matta served as the Head Coach of Highland High School from 2014-17, prior to serving one year as an Assistant Coach at Mesa Community College.
