[Women's Golf] Point Women's Golf Place 5th at AAC Spring Invite; Lewis Ties for 3rd

WALESKA, Ga. -- The Point University women's golf team, coached by Angela Ormsby, finished fifth among nine schools with a 36-hole total of 665 strokes at the 2019 Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Golf Spring Championships, played April 1-2, at the Callahan Golf Links in Waleska, Ga.  A total of 58 golfers teed off on the 5804-yard, par 72 course.  Point competes next at the NAIA-AAC Direct Qualifier Championships, hosted by Brenau University at the Chattahoochee Golf Club, Monday and Tuesday, April 15-16.
