[Men's Basketball] Men's Basketball upsets Cumberlands in MSC Quarterfinals 53-40

PIKEVILLE, Ky. – A strong defensive effort and a points surge early in the second half helped the sixth-seeded Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team upset third-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) 53-40 in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals on Friday afternoon at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.

With the victory, Lindsey Wilson advances to face No. 9-ranked and second-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) in the tournament semifinals on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
