[Baseball] Jaguars strike early to down Dustdevils

LAREDO – The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars struck for two first-inning runs to back a strong pitching performance from Nathaniel Pena (SO/Angleton, TX) in a 3-1 victory on Friday over the Texas A&M-International Dustdevils.

The Jaguars improved to 1-2 on the season, while the Dustdevils fell to 0-4. Both teams return to action Saturday for a noon doubleheader at Jorge Haynes Field.
