Kento’s Carbon Widebody Project in Japan

One of our most fun and impactful projects in the last year or so has been our customer Kento’s amazing carbon widebody GT-R in Japan. 

 

We were excited that this car got so much respect from the Japanese tuners, media, and fans, since it’s a place we’re used to coming to and being the ones in awe.

 

Our experience at Auto Salon was great with the car being prominently featured in one of the premier spots at the entire show!  Thank you to RAYS Wheels Japan for selecting Kento’s car for this honor.

 

Of course, the Top Racing widebody was just the beginning as this beautiful R35 also features an HKS GT1000 kit.

 

It was very satisfying to finally contribute to an event that we’ve always idolized and enjoyed attending.

 

We felt at home as much as ever before.  And of course, we were shocked and thrilled to see Kento’s car grace the cover of Option Magazine which has been our bible for nearly as long as we’ve been alive.

 

RAYS also continued their support.  They were kind enough to use the car for the debut of the beautiful new Volk Racing G25 Prism Color.  They featured us on their website as well.

 

The car then began a journey visiting some of the biggest events across Japan such as Osaka Auto Messe and even accompanying us to Thailand for Bangkok Auto Salon!

 Even when the car had a moment to breathe it still left us breathless.

Because who can forget that?

 

It wasn’t just Option that wanted immortalize this great build.
