Top Builds from Tokyo Auto Salon 2015

0

The halls of Tokyo Auto Salon are filled with hundreds of incredible cars. While the team at Bulletproof appreciates all sub cultures and type of cars from the VIP scene to full blown race cars, here is our compilation of our favorite cars from this years TAS.

Mad Mike's 'HUMBUL’ FD3S RX-7

Total Care Produce Magic is showing off Mad Mike's new car. Built to be the big brother to the JAPBUL RX-7 Mike used for the D1 Grand Prix and Formula Drift. While that car had a ridiculous naturally aspirated 4 rotor engine, this new incarnation is another 4 rotor Wankel engine but with two GCG turbos pushing well over 1,000hp. The all black and wide stance is the perfect menacing look to for this crazy of an engine. We can't wait to see it in action!

JUN Auto's Subaru BRZ

The outside of this car seem pretty tame and hard to imagine why we could love it so much. The Subaru is sporting  the JUN Front Lip Spoiler, JUN Side Diffuser, JUN Rear Side Diffuser,  and an Ings Rear Wing all in carbon. JUN's signature yellow paint plus black decals finish off the exterior styling. While it looks good, it is by no means the reason this car is so freaking awesome.

Not until you lift open the hood you get to see what is so special about this BRZ. JUN's engine of choice is a Synergy V8 from New Zealand. Essentially two Hayabusa bike engines are fused together in a "V" to create a 2.4L, 360hp lightweight power plant that doesn't stop revving until12,000rpm!

VRS BMW Z4 GT3 Wide Body

Here in the states, the BMW Z4 has never really taken off as a tuning car. This one car could vary well change that. When Varis originally told us they are planning a wide body Z4, we just couldn't wait to see it. Every glimpse that Varis previewed on their Facebook page during production sparked hour long discussions and sheer lust for the Z4. The body kit has all of the lines that make you know it is a Varis creation but the GT3 inspiration is still completely there. Just to make that point even greater, see the GT3 Z4 next to the new Varis Z4.
