Gricey
Always a big fan of Spicey Gricey, the fastest pastry chef this side of Maitland.
Just finished reading the recently published book on Gricey, was amazed at his exploit’s overseas in the 80’s. In those days unfortunately very little was heard on mainstream media about motor racing. For some reason our local radio station always was big Bathurst, and remember the news announcer coming on air with Gricey the 100mph lap during Bathurst practice.
We can all remember the Craven Mild Corvair sports sedan, or the battle of Craven Mild versus Marlboro in the touring cars.
Didn’t seem to mind a bit of panel rubbing, or expressing an opinion or two while partaking of a Craven Mild.
