PVGP Recognizes 2025 Checkered Flag Winners and Partners at Annual Victory Lap Celebration
The PVGP hosted its Victory Lap Celebration last night at the Doubletree Hotel in Cranberry, marking a joyful finale to the 2025 event season. This annual gathering highlights the spirit of the PVGP by presenting donations to the charities and honoring the partners and volunteers who make it all possible. In 2009, the celebration grew to include the presentation of Checkered Flags for Outstanding Efforts. Since then, 167 custom-embroidered PVGP checkered flags have been awarded, including 15 new recipients recognized last night.

Representatives from Merakey Allegheny Valley School and Autism Pittsburgh were on hand to accept a $100,000 donation, bringing the PVGP’s total contributions since 1983 to an inspiring $7.2 million.
Executive Director Dan DelBianco shared his enthusiasm with the crowd, saying that the PVGP is more than a race; it is a community built on passion, generosity, and the dedication of car enthusiasts, racers, partners, and an incredible team of volunteers.
