Photo Review: 2025 PDRA Drag Wars

As the 2025 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series season nears the end, doing well at Drag Wars sponsored by Pro Fabrication Services is vital to racers to put themselves in position for season titles. Photos and action review by Dave Oakes.

Ty Tutterow picked up his 2nd consecutive win in WS Construction Pro Boost. He has a one-round lead in the standings heading into the finals.

Marcus Butner tightened up the points race by defeating Tommy Franklin with a 3.63 in the Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous final.

Points leader Alan Drinkwater knocked off Jordan Ensslin in an all-Ford final, 4.07 to 4.09 in AED Extreme Pro Stock.

Ethan Steding is now the points leader in Liberty Gears Pro Street by defeating Ron Green in the final with a 3.92/194.74.

Jordan Ensslin was the #1 qualifier in Extreme Pro Stock at 4.050.

Tommy Franklin set the pace in Pro Nitrous qualifying at 3.623.

Austin Vincent took home the Super Street win when Connor McGee lit the red bulb.

Even though he was late on the light, Dwayne Silance won the MagnaFuel Elite Top Sportsman when Scott Duggins broke out.

Joe Roubicek was the MagnaFuel Top Sportsman 32 winner on a Ronnie Proctor red light.

Multi-time winner Steve Furr took the Laris Insurance Elite Top Dragster crown when Brian Maine went red by .001.

North Carolina’s Ken Batchelor took a narrow win over Clayton Roberts for the Laris Insurance Top Dragster 48 title.
