TWIN FAN APPRECIATION NIGHTS OPEN NORTHERN NATIONALS WEEK AT OHSWEKEN

$10 entry each for Wednesday and Thursday of historic week

September 8, 2025, OHSWEKEN, ON  – The 2025 version of the Northern Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway runs from Wednesday through Saturday night at the popular Six Nations’ facility.

In an effort to give back to the fast-growing fanbase, speedway management decided that each of the first two nights of this week’s event will be Fan Appreciation nights featuring a $10 general admission for adults with children under 12 getting in free on Thursday night.

“We know attending  multiple nights of racing in one week can be expensive,” said speedway General Manager Clinton Geoffrey. “Offering the first two nights for just $10 is our way of saying thank you to our fans for an amazing year.”

Thursday night features the Northern Thunder Stock Nationals with the addition of the inaugural Northern Mini Stock Nationals.

Both fendered car divisions wow the fans weekly, and having their own night at the Nationals is a salute to both them and the rabid fans who cheer for them weekly.

“All of our Nationals on the big track are run the same way,” said Geoffrey. “With time trials, a pole dash, and a 35-lap main event we are offering the best of the best their chance to earn the win of their career.”

Also on Thursday night is open practice sessions for the 360 sprint cars and the crate-engine sprint cars making it feel like Friday Night Excitement for a much lower price.

The week kicks off Wednesday night on the warm-up track in the pit area known as the Little O. The Micro Sprint Nationals will offer the next generation their chance to shine The track is smaller. The grandstands are smaller. But the action is every bit as intense as anything you’ll see on the big track.

“We have been boasting on our Micro Sprint and Flat Kart program for years,” said Geoffrey. “The live stream of our regular weekly racing on the small track is growing like crazy, and so is interest in participation. Every class is growing year over year.”

Open Micro Sprints are the premier class in the Micro Nationals. The most notable previous champion of the Micro Sprints is 360 sprint car sensation Dylan Westbrook.
