Druski Stuns Fans With NASCAR Skit Video

0 81

Druski is a comedian and entrepreneur from Georgia who is known for his edgy and, at times, controversial skits.

It's earning him comparisons to Sacha Baron Cohen. "Druski is on a Da Ali G show level of character work," wrote one man.

He is a social media influencer who has 1.5 million followers on X and 10.5 million on Instagram.Rolling Stone named Druski its 2nd most influential creator of 2025.

On the evening of Sept. 2, Druski posted a video to both pages that showed him posing as his idea of a stereotypical NASCAR fan, complete with overalls, a cowboy hat, farmer's tan sunburn, and a lot of white body makeup. No one appeared to figure out it was Druski, at least not in the video, due to the complete transformation.

Be forewarned that the video, which has racked up more than 11 million views in just three hours, contains some disturbing scenes. Druski makes a statement on racism in the video, which is an exercise in satire and immediately provoked debate online.

In another recent skit, Druski fooled fans at a Rod Wave concert by pretending to be the rapper/singer.

"When it comes to the stiff competition for funnymen online, 30-year-old Drew Desbordes, a.k.a. Druski, continues to set the tone," Rolling Stone wrote, noting that he got his start on Instagram and has appeared on the BET Awards stage.

The complete transformation shocked fans. "I literally have no words," wrote one woman.

"Makeup artist went insane, actually," wrote a man.

"Your makeup artist needs some sort of award," a fan wrote on Druski's X comment thread. Another fan compared the skit to the movie Tropical Thunder.

However, another person wrote, "Conflicted because it’s funny but also I kinda hate to see it," arguing that Druski was promoting a "stereotype."

Who is Druski?

The viral video and debate had some fans wondering more about Druski. His real name is Drew Desbordes, according to his bio on the United Talent website.

"Comedic timing is an art that few have mastered, yet it’s one that Drew Desbordes has been cultivating for years before his fame. Known to the world as 'Druski,' the comedian/entrepreneur has carved a niche for himself crystalized by his authenticity and innovating approach to making people laugh," the website bio says. "As Druski enters the next level in his career, he is well on his way to becoming a household name."

The bio says that Druski was born in Maryland but raised in Gwinnet County, GA.

“I was always funny and always entertaining,” he said in the bio, adding, “ I also come from a really funny family, from my grandma right down to my brother.”

The bio says that he grew up with his parents watching comedians like Cedric The Entertainer and Dave Chappelle. In college, he "started looking at clips from like Diddy, Will Smith, Steve Harvey, watching all this inspirational movement on what they did and the feelings they had. They were saying the same type of things I was feeling—like I had more to my life.”

He dropped out of school, worked at Red Lobster, and then started writing jokes "in the Notes app on his phone," the bio says, adding that he started going viral online and has toured with Chris Brown, Lil Baby, and J. Cole. He has also appeared in commercials and launched a 100-city comedy tour.

“I still don’t feel like I’ve had my ‘big break’ yet,” he said in the bio. “I see myself just like everybody else, and I just hope that I can make a connection to people and make the world laugh.”
