OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY MICRO SPRINT AND GO KART RACING CANCELLED ON AUGUST 28 DUE TO RAIN

Ohsweken, ON – August 28, 2025 – Ohsweken Speedway announces that tonight’s Micro Sprint and Go Kart Racing event has been cancelled as it is currently raining at the track and the forecast is calling for rain to continue into the evening.

This week’s event will not be made up. The next race night will be the final points night of the season, scheduled for Thursday, September 4. Drivers and teams will have one last opportunity to battle for valuable championship points before the season concludes.

NORTHERN MICRO SPRINT NATIONALS – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

Ohsweken Speedway is also pleased to announce the return of the 4th Annual Northern Micro Sprint Nationals, set for Wednesday, September 10, serving as the official kickoff to Northern Sprint Car Nationals weekend.

This special post-championship event will feature cash payouts to the top five finishers in every class, offering drivers one more opportunity to race for valuable prizes after the points season wraps up.

Fans and teams alike can look forward to an action-packed night of racing as the best in Micro Sprint competition gather at Ohsweken Speedway for this marquee event.

BANQUET TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE

Ohsweken Speedway is pleased to remind teams and fans that banquet tickets are now available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased at the pit gate on Thursdays and Fridays for the remainder of the Ohsweken Speedway schedule.

The 2025 Micro Sprint Banquet will take place at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (3201 2nd Line, Hagersville) on Thursday, October 23 at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $25 each.
