Saturday Night’s Alright for Home Track Racing at Peterborough Speedway
Excitement continues to build as Peterborough Speedway rolls into the final month of the track’s 2025 regular season.
Saturday, August 9th the Ontario Sportsman Series joins the home track Battlefield Equipment Rental Bone Stock and KOD Disposal Late Model divisions, along with the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series and Ontario Bandoleros, presented by Hastings Marine. Kid’s Barrel Races will be the intermission attraction. Grandstand gates open at 5:00, with the night’s first Great Canadian RV green flag at 6:00.
“Across the board, our racers in every weekly division will be chasing a checkered flag that could help pave the way to the season championship,” said track owner and promoter J.P. Josiasse. “Since our season opener, 35 different Bone Stock runners have scored points at the track. The top 5 racers are only 45 points apart. In the Late Model ranks, nearly 15 teams have competed in at least 1 main event.”
Saturday night regulars and special guests have been thrilling fans and Making Memories for Life since 1967. As the final month of the regular season rolls on, weekly racers will share the spotlight with the GEN-3 Electrical OMRS SportsMods, Ontario Legend Cars and Outlaw Midgets as the schedule at the popular Central Ontario oval heads to the Saturday, August 30th Championship Clash.
Make sure you’re on hand for an exciting night of home track racing – Saturday, August 9th – at Peterborough Speedway. Passes can be ordered in advance by selecting the ‘buy tickets’ option on the track’s website. Fans can also purchase tickets on-site through the trackside ticket booth on raceday. Peterborough Speedway is a cash only facility with an ATM available at the main entrance.
