British GP: Mixed qualifying for Williams Racing

Qualifying for the 2025 British GP was very much a mixed session for Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon with the pair having quite different outcomes. For Carlos he would get the most out of his car finishing in 11th but for Alex his qualifying would see him suffer from not been able to get the best from his soft tyres on his first run and then to be compromised by a Red Flag in his second. Alex would finish 14th. Despite this the gaps to those in front for both Carlos and Alex were so small so the outcome of the session could have been so different. But the team is still encouraged by their long run race pace so the opportunities for Sunday's race are looking promising. On top of this as a result of other driver grid penalties Carlos and Alex will now start from 9th & 13th.
