Feel the Speed and Experience It All at the PVGP Historics Weekend at Pitt Race July 11-13
If you crave speed and classic racing action, the PVGP Historics Weekend is for you. Since 2004, racers from across the country have tackled the 2.8-mile Pitt Race circuit — just 40 miles from Pittsburgh — in fierce battles featuring Mustangs, Corvettes, Jaguars, BMWs, Porsches, Alfa Romeos, and this year’s special Panoz Reunion.
Explore the open paddock, meet the drivers, and get up close to these legendary machines. Watch the racing from prime spots, grab a bite from local food trucks, and enjoy a cold one from Helltown Brewing, the Official Beer of the PVGP.
There’s more than racing: test your skills in the new Autocross, hit the Wilson Karting Circuit, or park your show car trackside for unbeatable views. Bring your friends and family — the PVGP Historics is pure motorsport fun.
Pittsburgh International Race Complex is Western Pennsylvania’s top motorsport destination. Its flowing 2.8-mile road course sits on 400 scenic acres and has become a premier venue for racing and karting since its transformation under Kathy and Jim Stout in 2011.
Panoz Reunion
The 2025 Panoz Reunion at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix will celebrate the legacy of Panoz with Danny Panoz, drivers, team members, and iconic cars all coming together for a weekend packed with shows, racing, track laps, and special events.
Founded by Dan Panoz in 1989, Panoz hand-builds American sports cars and groundbreaking race cars that made history with wins at Le Mans, Sebring, and Petit Le Mans. Beyond the track, Panoz shaped American racing by launching the American Le Mans Series and operating legendary circuits like Road Atlanta and Sebring.
Fans can expect on-track action, a special paddock display by the Water Tower, charity rides, an owners’ dinner with Dan Panoz, and plenty of chances to see these cars up close at Pittsburgh International Race Complex — the perfect setting to honor this remarkable racing legacy. DETAILS
Autocross – NEW!
In partnership with the North Hills Sports Car Club, the PVGP is hosting a relaxed, low-pressure Autocross event on the Vehicle Dynamics Area (VDA) at Pitt Race on the weekend. This is a perfect opportunity for seasoned autocrossers to get quality seat time and for newcomers to experience the excitement of autocross in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment. Entry is $25 per session, in addition to your general gate admission. Your entry allows you to drive your vehicle into the facility, where you’ll be directed to a designated parking area near the VDA once your runs are complete, so you can stick around and enjoy the races.
There will be morning and afternoon sessions. Each session includes a quick car tech and track walk-through.

Two Distinct Car Show Parking Areas
Bring your show car to the track and be part of an unforgettable weekend at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Experience the heart-pounding thunder of the PVGP Historics at Pitt Race — where speed, muscle and raw racing history come alive. Since 2004, drivers from across the country have tackled this 2.8-mile, purpose-built circuit, located just 40 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, putting legendary machines like Mustangs, Corvettes, Jaguars, BMWs, Porsches, and Alfa Romeos through their paces. This year, the excitement grows even more with a special Panoz Reunion.
Your general admission includes free parking outside the gates, but if you want to get closer to the action — and show off your pride and joy — you have two great options:
Car Corral at Water Tower — $10/day
Park in the Car Corral, a dedicated display area around the water tower at the final three turns — 17, 18 and 19. This grassy spot gives you a front-row seat to the back straight and the dramatic final turn to the finish line. For just a $10 daily donation on top of your admission, you can showcase your car and soak in the sights and sounds from one of the best vantage points on the track.
Spectator Hill VIP Parking — $30/day
If you want the ultimate view, claim your spot atop Spectator Hill for $30 per day. Bring your tailgate setup or pop-up tent and spend the day watching vintage racers carve through turns 1 to 3 before roaring down the straightaway into Coyote Gulch. Keep your eyes peeled as they reappear at turn 7 and snake through to turn 12 — all from one unbeatable perch.
Reserve your spot, park with fellow enthusiasts, and make your race weekend even more memorable.
Buckle Up for a Thrill Ride — All for a Great Cause!
Every Saturday and Sunday during lunch break, you can live the dream with our PVGP Track Rides for Charity! Climb into the passenger seat of a roaring muscle car — maybe a legendary Shelby Cobra, a classic Mustang or Camaro, or even a modern-day Porsche — and feel the rush as you lap our 2.8-mile racetrack. Prefer a touch of British charm? Take your pick from iconic marques like Triumph, MG, Lotus, or Austin-Healey.
For just $50 per lap, you’ll get an unforgettable 5-minute ride alongside one of our generous vintage racers or professional instructors. While they won’t be pushing race speeds, you’ll still soak in the thrilling sights, sounds, and smells of a true vintage race lap.
The best part? Every ride helps fuel our mission to support local charities. Our drivers graciously donate their time — and their tires and fuel — to give you this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
So hold tight, and make some memories while making a difference!
Race Like a Pro on the World-Class Wilson Karting Track
Feel the rush and put your driving skills to the test on the world-class Wilson Karting Circuit — a thrilling .83-mile track designed to deliver pure adrenaline. Climb into a high-performance kart and hit speeds up to 45 MPH as you carve through tight corners and blast down straightaways that challenge rookies and seasoned racers alike.
Everything you need is included: your kart, fuel, and all required safety gear. Just bring your sense of adventure and closed-toe shoes — we’ll handle the rest. Drivers must be between 5 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, with no age limits — so it’s the perfect thrill for kids, teens, and grown-up speed demons alike.
Whether you’re chasing bragging rights with friends or just want to see how fast you can go, karting at Pitt Race is an experience you won’t forget. Grab the wheel, grip it tight, and see if you’ve got what it takes to master the circuit!
