OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY MICRO SPRINT AND GO KART RACING CANCELLED ON JUNE 19 DUE TO HEAVY RAINS
Ohsweken, ON – Ohsweken Speedway deeply regrets to announce the cancellation of the scheduled Micro Sprint and Go Kart Racing event for Thursday, June 19, 2025. The decision comes in response to heavy rainfall that occurred yesterday and overnight, leaving the Micro Sprint track and surrounding areas waterlogged and unsafe for competition.
General Manager Clinton Geoffrey shared the speedway’s update, stating, “We’ve been monitoring the conditions all day hoping for improvement, but unfortunately, there’s been little to no change. The track and infield remain saturated, so we’re forced to cancel tonight’s event.”
Micro Sprint and Go Kart racing is scheduled to resume next Thursday, June 26, and the Speedway team is committed to delivering a fun, competitive, and safe night of racing for all.
Ohsweken Speedway extends its sincere apologies to all racers, teams, and fans affected by this cancellation. We understand the effort and excitement that goes into preparing for race night, and we share in your disappointment.
We thank you for your continued support and encourage everyone to stay connected with us through our official website and social media channels for further updates and announcements.
