Late Models
Jason Erickson #94 Late Model Feature Winner
Hobby Stocks
The Gridline Landscape and Tree Company Hobby Stock Feature was action packed as usual. Kaeden Wangsness would take the early advantage in the 30 lap feature. Gaven Smothers would make his way up to battle with Wangsness. Smothers would over take his fellow rookie contender to take the lead. Smothers would have to fend off a late race charge by Tony Ciano. The rookie was up to the challenge and was able to secure his first career feature win. Smothers was followed by Ciano, Waylon Robinson, Shane Strothman, and Scott Tiedt. Tiedt didn’t pass post race technical inspection. Wangsness was awarded fifth place.
Gaven Smothers #18 Hobby Stock Feature Winner
International
The Wolff Pack Apparel and Promotions International feature saw no shortage of action. The feature event saw plenty of three wide action. Carli Lenz jumped out to the early lead as action was scorching hot behind her. Caution would fly on lap five for a three car incident involving Jason Uttech, Tim Higgins, and Jose Santacruz. David Russell Jr would muscle the lead away from Lenz. His lead was short lived as Blake Nottestad would quickly steal the lead away from Russell. Nottestad would cruise away as the excitement was for positions two through five. When it was all sorted out, Nottestad claimed the 20 lap main event. Mark English, Merek Pankow, Karter Stark, and Uttech would round out a fierce top five battle. Karter Stark set the track record earlier in the night with a lap of 15.198.
Blake Nottestad #98 International Feature Winner
Bandits
The PJ’s Painting Bandits weren’t afraid to mix it up and trade a little paint. Josh Lenz led the early stages of the 20 lap contest. Lenz would slip up a little bit out of turn four. This opened the door for Mason Wilcott. The youngster Wilcott and Lenz had a little contact going into turn one. Wilcott would muscle his way past Lenz on lap 9. Nick Schmidt would make a late race charge to challenge his stepson for the win. Wilcott held on to take the win by half a car length over Schmidt at the checkers. Trent Rueth, Tom Schuette, and Lenz rounded out the top five.
Mason Wilcott #109 Bandit Feature Winner
