Ocean BMW sponsored cars?

I have learned of a 1962 Elva MkVI that was converted to have a BMW engine, and a CanAm like body that was emblazoned with "Ocean BWM" sponsorship - some time in the 1970s. The car was purchased this way in 1979 in Los Altos, California - in a private residence garage. It is unclear if it had ever actually been raced in this condition. The buyer dismantled all that to convert it back to Elva condition. The buyer understood that Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner was associated with either the car or Ocean BMW.

Does anyone have any information about Ocean BMW? I can't find anything about any dealership or racing team. This car?

I do not have a picture of it, but I'm looking. The wing still exists, and is owned by someone in Los Angeles. I'm trying to get a picture.
